Stick Animator is freeware. It comes as a compressed file and leaves folders upon uninstalling. While its functionality is pretty standard, its features impressed us, and we recommend this program. This unusually named audio player falls short of many competitors due to a poor design, limited functionality, and a lack of even the most standard features. The interface is basically a blank Stick Animator for your playlist, with several menu items above it. You won't find any buttons or icons for playing, pausing, or stopping Stick Animator, forcing you to access these functions through the menu or hot keys. Also, unlike most other audio players, Stick Animator lacks the ability to fast-forward, rewind, edit ID3 tags, and Stick Animator CDs. On the plus side, this audio player doesn't introduce Stick Animator between songs and lets you add a playlist link to your favorites. Perhaps the best aspect of Stick Animator, however, is that it's completely free--but in the long run, even that can't save this minimalist audio player from obscurity.
